Cotton Muslin, one of the most common household fabrics, is used for everything from sewing to straining to cleaning. It is overlooked yet so intriguing, once it is properly examined. Here, the fabric is unpicked in a repetitive way, the internal structures exposed. The cloth is treated with care, washed by hand as it would be within a household. The fabric is placed on a metaphorical pedestal, and once this context is changed, the language of the fabric can be seen.
